Store listings

For the latest version and store listing:

Same app, same features. The Instinct 3 Solar and Instinct E are on the Garmin Pay listing only, because those watches don't have the memory to run the app and the trial system together. Every other watch is on both. See the FAQ comparison for details.

Before you email

The FAQ covers the most common questions about calories, treadmill mode, mid-activity settings, and where to find pack-aware stats in Garmin Connect. Worth a quick look in case your answer is there.

Reporting a bug

Including the following helps me reproduce and fix the issue quickly:

• Your Garmin watch model (e.g. Forerunner 965, Venu 3, fēnix 8).
• Your watch firmware version. On most devices: Settings → System → About.
• The RuckTrack version you're running. Visible on the Connect IQ Store listing or in the app's Connect IQ Store details on your phone.
• What you did, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened.
• Roughly when it happened (date and approximate time), so I can correlate with any sync data you share.
• If the activity saved, sharing the activity's Garmin Connect URL helps a lot.

Feature requests

Welcome. I can't build everything, but what people actually hit on real rucks is what I work on. If there's something the app doesn't do for your rucks, send it over.

That isn't a figure of speech. A few things in the app now that started as an email:

• Foot pod speed on a treadmill, and the current-pace screen that followed it, both from a user running interval treadmill sessions.
• Walk-or-Ruck save type, plus treadmill distance and incline in the exported data, from a user whose treadmill rucks were saving as walks and losing their distance in Garmin Connect.
• Auto Pause, from reviewers pointing out that stops at crosswalks skew pace and time.

Bug reports get the same treatment. Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to write in.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by the store you bought from, not by Meridian. I don't process payments and have no access to your purchase or your payment details, so I can't reverse a charge or check its status. For the Garmin Pay version, Garmin Support handles billing questions. For the KiezelPay version, KiezelPay does.

Looking for something lighter?

If you don't want the full app and just need the load-aware calorie number inside an activity you already use (Hike, Walk, or a native Ruck), the same calorie math ships as a single data field: PackCal. One cell, nothing separate to start. RuckTrack is the full experience; PackCal is the lightweight companion from the same developer.
