122 Garmin watches as of v2.12.5

RuckTrack runs on Garmin watches running Connect IQ 3.4 or later, across AMOLED, 64-color MIP, and 1-bit monochrome displays. The list below is grouped by product family.

Two listings, slightly different reach. RuckTrack is sold twice: through Garmin Pay, and through KiezelPay with a 7-day free trial. The app is identical. The device lists are not, because Garmin only sells apps through its own checkout on a subset of watches. The Garmin Pay listing covers 98 watches. The KiezelPay listing covers 118, and it is the only way to get RuckTrack on the fēnix 6 Pro family, MARQ first generation, Descent Mk2, quatix 6 and 6X, tactix Delta, and D2 Air X10. The three monochrome Instinct watches go the other way and are Garmin Pay only. If your watch is on this page but the Garmin Pay listing says it is not compatible, try the KiezelPay listing.

If your watch isn't here, it's most likely a pre-Connect IQ 3.4 model. The Connect IQ Store listing has the live compatibility check — install will only complete on a supported device.

Display support

RuckTrack was designed AMOLED-first. The deep-black background, vibrant green dividers, colored zone arcs, and high-contrast numeric heroes all use the display's per-pixel light control. The MIP (64-color) watches can't render the photo-grade start screen, so on those displays it degrades gracefully to a clean flat layout, while the live screens, the numeric typeface, the charts, and every metric render the same.

MIP watches also open the live screens in a light theme, dark text on white, because a transflective display reflects sunlight instead of emitting its own light and reads better that way outdoors. If you prefer the dark look, switch it under Settings then Theme. AMOLED watches stay black, which is what keeps them safe from burn-in.

The monochrome Instinct watches (Instinct 3 Solar, Instinct E) are the one place where the build genuinely differs, and it is worth being straight about it. They give an app roughly 128 KB to work with, a fraction of what the rest of the fleet allows, so the review screens are left out to keep recording solid: lifetime Stats, History, Calorie Details, the Settings entries for page visibility and the Overview grid, the What's New page, and the treadmill pace screen. Recording, calories, laps, auto-lap, the live pages and the full post-save summary all behave as they do everywhere else. Saved history holds 10 rucks there rather than 30, and the Overview grid keeps its shipped layout instead of being configurable.

Connect IQ version

RuckTrack builds against Connect IQ API 3.4. Most listed devices have firmware that supports newer Connect IQ features (action menus, in-place toggle items); older devices fall back to a compatible code path automatically. You don't need to pick — the right path runs on the right device.

One difference on the Connect IQ 3.4 watches (the fēnix 6 Pro, 6S Pro and 6X Pro family): their firmware has no glance support for activity apps, so RuckTrack has no glance widget there. Recording, calories, the live pages and the full post-save summary all behave as they do everywhere else. There is one further difference worth knowing: Garmin only accepts the Rucking activity type from Connect IQ 5.1 onwards, so on these watches an outdoor session arrives in Garmin Connect typed as a Hike. The name still reads "Ruck 35 lb" and every load-aware field is present and identical.
